Squid gamE – Truth vs Fiction

OK, this may be old news, but it’s something we’ve wanted to report on for a while.

Remember those despicable men in Squid Game? You may be thinking, “Which ones?” – after all, it’s a drama series which has its fair share of bad characters and ultimately murderers.

We are referring to that ‘boys club’ of old foreign [meaning “non-Korean”] men wearing glittery masks… Remember?

Well, something – or some news – which barely registered (or at least not until a while after the series aired) was the real life incident and therefore ‘story’ of one of those actors making quite a scene whilst in Asia.

The man in question – Geoffrey Giuliano – gave us a taste of his own alleged self-worth / self-entitlement whilst in Thailand.

After examining reports in the media of what occurred we came to evaluate what can only be described as a combination of three negative traits of certain Western world males who seek pleasure in South East Asia and East Asia etc.

1) A guy, in Pattaya (the sex capital of both Thailand and the world) behaving like so many warped-minded others who reside or visit that city. This is, of course not including most of the Thais – it’s not their fault that this once beautiful port has been overrun by vulgarity and venomous males.

2) This man – and as he’s quoted as saying so or at least alluding to – thinks that being a USA citizen means that it’s his ‘god given’ right to be as obnoxious as he can be anywhere else in the world.

Perhaps we should have a slight bit of sympathy though… After all, don’t some or a lot of Americans rarely step out of their country & therefore what they already view as “The World” is only what they see on a day to day basis? (And so, maybe when they do leave, it’s a shock to their system when they meet ‘the little people’? Oh, please…!)

3) An ego-ridden male who, funnily enough is often cast or stereotyped for such nasty filmic roles maybe only has one way of behaving – on or off camera.

Perhaps that just by putting a mask on and being a sexual deviant could mean what he is on and off camera. Sickening?

Furthermore, him residing in the ‘city of sin’ has led him to be involved with the production of many a video, which just like his “Squid Game” character could be seen as creepy.

This one alone seems to not only be aimed at MEN more than women, and he seems to know a little too much about the prostitution scene…
